Solid wood composite wood flooring has the natural wood pattern of solid wood flooring, giving people the feeling of returning to nature. Although the solid wood composite floor is not easy to be deformed, improper control of the process parameters during the production process may also cause the solid wood composite floor to be deformed during storage or use. Parquet deformation can take many forms, such as wavy.

The surface of the parquet is along the length direction, and the width of the core plate is regularly undulated, and there are two manifestations.

The wood material is a hygroscopic material, and the moisture content of the wood changes with the temperature and humidity of the external environment. Due to this special structure of the solid wood composite floor, there is no significant influence on the shape of the solid wood composite floor. When the core material moisture content of the finished solid wood composite floor is higher than the equilibrium moisture content of the environment used, the core plate is in direct contact with the outside air at the seam. The shrinkage is thereby expanded into the interior of the core panel, and the reduction in the width of the core panel in the width direction is minimally affected by the influence of the surface panel and the bottom panel. Therefore, there is no obvious change in the length direction of the whole solid wood composite floor. In the thickness direction, the thickness of the solid wood composite floor decreases with the shrinkage of the core plate. As time goes by, the contraction develops to the inside and deepens. The unevenness of the thickness of the parquet is also obvious.

The moisture content of the wood used to make the core board must be adapted to the dryness and wetness of the environment in which it is used, in order to fundamentally solve the deformation caused by the shrinkage and swelling of the solid wood composite floor during use. It is important for the manufacturer to determine the moisture content of the core material and do the drying work. Determining the final dry moisture content based on the final use environment of the product is the key to solving this problem. The final moisture content of the raw material of the dried core board should be lower than the moisture absorption hysteresis value of the ambient air balance moisture content of the finished solid wood composite floor, which is the principle to be determined to determine the final moisture content of the core material.

The northern climate is dry, the air balance moisture content is low, 9-13%, the southern climate is humid, and the air balance moisture content is high, 14-17%. Parquet flooring is commonly used indoors as a decorative material. However, the indoor environment and local climatic conditions are slightly different and different. Generally, it should be based on the indoors and refer to the local climatic conditions. If the environment used for parquet is a temperature-controlled, then it will be a relatively stable environment, less affected by the climate. People who live between 15 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius and have a relative humidity of 40%-70% feel comfortable. The air balance moisture content at this time is about 10% on average. This is why foreign companies in some developed countries in Europe and the United States require the moisture content of solid wood composite flooring to be around 8%. In addition to doing the drying work, the manufacturer of solid wood composite flooring should pay attention to adjusting the humidity of the production workshop to match the moisture content of the wood in production and processing. Otherwise, the veneer will be deformed and warped during processing and storage, which will affect the normal production process, resulting in a decline in product quality. Conversely, manufacturers should also consider the climate characteristics of the region when determining process parameters. The moisture content of the wood should not be set too high or too low compared to the equilibrium moisture content of the local air. Only in this way, it is relatively easy to adjust the temperature of the production workshop, and the production can proceed smoothly.

During the use, care should be taken to maintain a suitable temperature and humidity environment in the room. Do not let the room be dry or damp or dry. After the new building is paved with solid wood composite flooring, care should be taken to maintain indoor air circulation. Do not allow the water from the building to stay indoors, so that the indoor environment becomes damp.
